Here are a couple more posts from the beginning of the drafting chain. Most posts begin in Twitlonger. From there they migrate to The Jeffersonian. If they´re lucky – that is, if I write about a topic enough that the posts form a group – they´re rewritten for publication in a book. The freehand rough drafts, winnowing down, rewriting process, filling out, polishing, arranging pieces, and so on produce good collections. I hope writing at all of these stages has a good effect someday.
